Apple’s Next-Gen iPhone XR Colors Leak in the Form of Broken Glass

Apple is expected to unveil a successor to the iPhone XR this year, and since last year’s offering was available in a wide variety of colors, it isn’t a stretch to assume that will be the case in 2019 as well. This week, we’re getting a look at what could potentially be a few new colors that the next-gen XR will ship in.

Mark Gurman of Bloomberg has tweeted a link to a Macotakara story which claims to show off broken pieces of glass from early models of the upcoming iPhone XR successor. As you can see, it looks like Apple will be going for a more toned-down appearance with this year’s XR as the colors opt for a less-saturated, pastel-esque appearance. It’s also being said that a few of the colors will replace existing colors in Apple’s lineup, so don’t expect the next XR to arrive in almost 10 different finishes.

With a solid four months to go, we expect to hear much more about Apple’s upcoming iPhone XR replacement and its next-gen iPhone siblings through more leaks and reports.
