Apple’s iPhone XR Now Available to Preorder for $749

After being unveiled last month alongside the iPhone XS and XS Max, Apple has finally made the iPhone XR available to preorder. Those who are interested can do so by visiting various retailers and carriers’ websites where preorders are now live across the country. Of course, the most popular way for folks to pre-order the device is through Apple’s own website.

The iPhone XR is a unique device. It boasts a similar design to the iPhone XS but ups the screen size to 6.1-inches and swaps out the OLED panel for an LCD. There’s also Face ID built into a notch up at the top, although 3D Touch didn’t make the cut. Both sides of the device are covered in glass (therefore enabling wireless charging) and the inside packs Apple’s A12 Bionic processor. There’s also a single 12MP camera on the back, a Lightning port on the bottom, and aluminum rails on all four edges.

If you’re interested in pre-ordering the iPhone XR, the 64GB model will cost you $749. Stepping things up is the 128GB variant which runs for $799. Finally, there’s the 256GB storage which costs $899. All three come in six colors: white, black, blue, yellow, coral, and red.
