Apple today begun seeding developers with the third beta of watchOS 3.1.1 for testing on both the Apple Watch and Apple Watch Series 2. This comes just over a week after the second build was released and a day after multiple new betas arrived for Apple’s other platforms including iOS, macOS, and tvOS.
So far, it only seems that bug fixes and security improvements are present in the latest beta of watchOS 3.1.1. However, if you happen to spot something worth noting, email us at mbedded@icloud.com.
To install the third beta of watchOS 3.1.1 on your Apple Watch, navigate to the Watch app on your paired iPhone and tap the “My Watch” tab. From there, go to General > Software Update and you should see the updated build ready for download. Be sure to place your iPhone on Wi-Fi while downloading this software as it’ll surely gobble up plenty of your data.
