Following the release of macOS 10.14.5 earlier this week, Apple today began rolling out the first beta of macOS Mojave 10.14.6 for testing on the Mac. Both developers and public beta testers should get the new update this week.
macOS 10.14.6 will likely include mainly bug fixes, security improvements, and other under-the-hood enhancements. Therefore, don’t expect to see any user-facing changes once the software is installed. That being said, if anything significant is discovered, we’ll let you know.
The new build can be installed by heading over to the System Preferences section of the Settings app. From there, hit “Software Update” and you should spot the upgrade ready to be download. Hit download and wait for it to finish installing. You’ll want to plug in your MacBook before installing the update to ensure you don’t run out of juice. Otherwise, sit back and be patient.
