Following the releases of beta 2 of iOS 9.3.3 and OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and beta 1 of watchOS 2.2.2, Apple has begun seeding developers with the second iteration of tvOS 9.2.2 for testing on the Apple TV. This comes two weeks after the first build of the next software update for the TV hit airwaves.
Nothing between the first and second betas of tvOS 9.2.2 have proven that new features are coming to the Apple TV other than bug fixes and security enhancements. User-facing changes aren’t expected until tvOS 10 is unveiled at WWDC 2016 next week.
We’ll update this article if anything worth noting is discovered in tvOS 9.2.2.
