Apple today released iOS 12.0.1 for installing on everyone’s iPhones and iPads. The update includes fixes for those with an iPhone XS or XS Max who have experienced issues when trying to charge their devices. According to the release notes, there are also fixes for Bluetooth, the iPad’s keyboard, 5GHz Wi-Fi, subtitles in videos, and other under-the-hood departments.
To install the update on your iPhone or iPad, head over to Settings > General > Software update. From there, you’ll see the listing for the build. Just tap “Download and install” and wait for your phone or tablet to complete the process. I recommend plugging in your device beforehand so you don’t run out of power before the installation is complete.
