Apple Reported Again to Release iPhone SE 2 w/ iPhone 8 Design in 2020

Almost a month ago to the day, a report surfaced out of Nikkei that claimed Apple would be releasing an iPhone SE 2 in spring of 2020. Since then, Bloomberg has corroborated the report to an extent by saying a new SE is coming next year. Now, we’re onto our third report claiming the device will debut sometime after 2019 has wrapped up.

Specifically, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (via 9to5Mac) claims a new iPhone SE will arrive in 2020. Falling in line with previous reports, Kuo also claims the new SE will resemble the 4.7-inch iPhone 8, chunk bezels and all. It’ll also ship with Touch ID, an A13 processor, 3GB of RAM, and (likely) 128GB of storage.

We still don’t have a price for the new SE, but the original started at $399. We could see this device priced similarly, although I’d bargain Apple will up the cost to around $499.

We’ve got a number of months in front of us until 2020 is here, so stay tuned for more details as I’m sure they’ll unravel soon.
