After releasing the final round of betas last week, Apple today released iOS 12.3 and tvOS 12.3 to all compatible devices. The new software updates bring Apple’s all-new Apple TV app to iPhones, iPads, and Apple TVs. You also get the new Channels feature which brings third-party service integration to Apple’s devices.

The new Apple TV app offers a redesigned user interface that’s meant to bring content to the forefront. Movies and TV shows you’ve purchased through iTunes will show up, and so will content from Apple’s upcoming subscription service, Apple TV+. Meanwhile, Channels will let you add other paid subscriptions to your TV app such as HBO, Starz, and Showtime. The UI should, overall, look very similar to what was available with past versions of the app, but you should now start seeing much more content right on your home screen.
Of course, iOS 12.3 and tvOS 12.3 also bring under-the-hood improvements and security fixes to devices.

To install the latest iOS update on your device, head over to Settings > General > Software Updates. There, you should find iOS 12.3 ready to be downloaded and installed. Just make sure you’re connected to a stable Wi-Fi connection and you have at least 70 to 80 percent battery life left. That way, you don’t run into any interruptions during the installation process.
tvOS 12.3 can be installed on your Apple TV by going to the Software Update section of the Settings app and hitting the download button.
