Apple Now Sells the iPhone XR Unlocked

When Apple launched the iPhone XR last month, it was originally available for purchase as a carrier-locked device. This meant at checkout, you’d have to choose which carrier you’d be using the phone on. Now, for those of you who may switch between carriers often or just don’t wanna be stuck with a phone that only works on one network, Apple is now selling the iPhone XR unlocked.

Over on its website, Apple has listed the unlocked XR which works on all four major U.S. carriers. It still costs $749, but you can pay in increments thanks to financing. The unlocked phone is also available at Apple’s retail stores so you can just walk in and pay for the phone without having to activate it on a carrier first.

The iPhone XR comes with a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD display, an A12 processor, 3Gb of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, Face ID, iOS 12, a single 12MP rear camera, wireless charging, stereo speakers, and a glass/aluminum design.
