All of OnePlus’ Smartphones Are Now Cheaper (For Good Reason)

OnePlus has announced that they are cutting the prices of all the smartphones they currently offer. This means that the OnePlus One, OnPlus 2, and OnePlus X are now more affordable, and under $300.

For starters, the OnePlus 2 now has a price tag of $299, $50 cheaper than the previous price. The OnePlus One is now $249 (with 64GB of storage) and the OnePlus X, the company’s cheapest handset, is now just $199, making it probably the best smartphone $200 can buy.

So why the price cuts? Well, according to recent rumors and leaks, it looks like the OnePlus 3 (which will no doubt cost more than $300) will be launching very soon. A recent chat session a reader had with a OnePlus representative which Android Authority published on their site suggested that the OP3 would be unveiled on June 14th. While no date has been announced formally by OnePlus, we can assume that this is indeed the date we’ve all be waiting for and begin to prepare for the launch of the possible “2017’s flagship killer”.
