Alcatel Just Announced a New Windows 10 Mobile Tablet That Will Be Featured at CES 2016

CES 2016 kicks off this week, and Alcatel has already announced a new gadget. The company has unveiled the Pixi 3, an 8-inch mid to low-range tablet running a tablet-optimized version of Windows 10 Mobile. This is the first tablet that we’ve seen so far officially announced running Microsoft’s mobile OS, and this will most likely not be the last during the show (or at least we hope so).

As far as specs and pricing, there isn’t too much to bounce off of, except the fact that Alcatel’s Pixi line traditionally contains low to mid-range hardware, so we really shouldn’t expect too much out of this guy, but it’s definitely exciting and a tablet we’d love to get our hands on.

Here’s the official description of the new 8-inch Pixi 3:

The first ALCATEL ONETOUCH tablet with a Windows Mobile operating system, the entry-level PIXI 3 8-inch tablet features Windows 10 Mobile, optimized for tablets.  It offers customization through Color Skins and Flip Stand covers. Other hot features: TV remote control, voice-call enablement, GPS, and front and rear cameras.
