Jeff Bezos, the CEO and founder of Amazon, has announced via Twitter that the company is gearing up to announce a brand new 8th generation Kindle which he claims is “top of the line”.
Heads up readers – all-new, top of the line Kindle almost ready. 8th generation. Details next week.

In the tweet, Bezos says that more details on the upcoming Kindle e-reader are coming next week, however it’s unclear whether that will also be the time Amazon will begin shipping the device. But since the company typically announces products the same day they begin shipping them, get ready to upgrade your reading experience as early as next week.
A new Kindle Voyage, which was loved by millions of readers around the world, could be on it’s way, but until next week, I guess we’re gonna have to keep guessing.
