Apple Club, a Taiwanese site, has claimed to obtain new images of the backlight component in the upcoming iPhone 7. In the images, there appears to be a 3D Touch chip, which rules out the mystery of whether these components are actually for the highly-rumored iPhone 6c rather the iPhone 7 as the 6c isn’t expected to feature 3D Touch.
There’s not a whole lot to go on about the upcoming iPhone 7 with these images, but if you like looking at the position of ribbon cables, these pics are for you. However, Apple Club is pretty reputable, as they revealed to the world the protruding camera lens on the iPhone 6, and considering these pictures don’t display anything mind blowing, it could do you well to take this leak to heart. I mean, after all, what’s it gonna do if it’s proven wrong, depress you for the rest of your life? Plus every iPhone has a backlight panel, and suppose this is it? So what, right?
As “blah” as these pictures are, expect more leaks like this within the coming months as more and more hype is built up to the upcoming iPhone.
The iPhone 7 is rumored to exclude the 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom, a 256GB storage option, a larger battery, and possible additional technologies like multi-3D-Touch, a USB-C connector, and dual camera configurations.
