Dude, I have exact the same issue... Is there any update on this? Did you managed to fix this?

Unfortunately I don't have any updates just yet. Still waiting to see if Apple fixes the problem with software. Hopefully watchOS 10.3 can improve it.

I’ve had exactly the same issue and it’s been driving me mad. Glad to see someone writing about it. I’ve had my series 8 since March, 99% battery health. Gone from getting nearly 2 days of use on a charge - usually including a half hour workout - to it dying before the end of the day on days when I work out. Infuriating.

This is what I'm talking about! It's just draining for no reason, right?

I certainly haven’t been able to find a reason why and have taken similar diagnostic steps to the stuff you tried - I reset my watch and that still didn’t change anything battery wise. I was praying Watch OS 10.2 would fix things, though from what you’ve said I won’t get my hopes up :/

I am experiencing exactly the same. Also updated from Series 3 to 8 one year ago. Battery life all day and beyond with 3 hours of workout with OS 9. Since updating to OS 10 Battery life is under 20% at 10 pm on days with no workout, just doing home office. I am guessing that battery has been going down to 91% max now just because of this issue, going under 20% or even shutting down some days in the evening. No Update until 10.3 helped. Apple support today downloaded battery protocol and says it would all be normal considering battery max power has been going down to 91% … But it is not. I have always been a superfan of the watch from day 1 of usage. Now since watchos 10 every day just sucks.

Honestly I haven't seen this. I wear my 45mm Series 8 almost all day and night and usually have like 35-40% left when I charge in the morning when I shower. Battery health is at 92%.

I am so incredibly jealous of this. Are you running watchOS 10.1.1 or the beta?

Just regular 10.1.1.
