The 2015 Retina MacBook is a great computer for browsing the web, checking email, blogging, editing some light photos and videos, listening to music, watching YouTube videos, and doing homework. It definitely won’t replace your current desktop, but it makes for a great companion to that. However, when Apple unveiled it, they also unveiled it’s ridiculous starting price: $1299. And that’s pretty much the only reason why consumers aren’t buying it. But, that’s not gonna stop third party retailers from giving it the price cut it needs.
Right now, you can pick up the 2015 MacBook at Best Buy with 256GB of storage and a 1.1Ghz Intel Core M processor in Silver, Space Gray, or Gold for just $999. That’s a $300 discount. Also, the retailer has discounted the model with 512GB of storage and a 1.2Ghz Intel Core M processor to $1299, which is also a $300 from the original price of $1599. That model’s also available in Silver, Space Gray, or Gold.
There’s no hint at when this deal will end, so I suggest grabbing one of these sweet laptops now while they’re nice ‘n’ cheap!
