When Apple announced the Apple Watch, their first wearable piece of technology, at their September 2014 event alongside the iPhone 6/Plus, everyone went nuts and wanted to know how much it would cost. Rumors flew around everywhere about how it could be $149, $199, $299, etc, but none of them were correct. When Apple did put the rumors to rest during their March 2015 keynote which also featured the debut of the 12 inch MacBook, everyone basically went into shock. Apple announced that the Apple Watch Sport would cost $349 for the 38mm model which, basically, only women buy since they have smaller wrists, and $399 for the 42mm model, which is pretty crazy when considering the functionality and style of the Watch. Plus, the stainless steel model begins at $549 and ends somewhere in the $1000 range, which is outrageous. And don’t even get me started on the Apple Watch Edition… seriously, don’t.
But all of that aside, a lot of people bought the Watch, especially the Sport model (you can probably imagine why). And at this time, it seems that the Sport is the most popular model available.
