Nokia 9 PureView Will Cost $699 and Launch March 3rd
This week during MWC 2019, Nokia unveiled the Nokia 9 PureView, the first phone with five rear cameras. Just a couple of days later, we now have pricing for the device and information as to when it’ll launch.
According to Nokia, the Nokia 9 will launch this Sunday, March 3rd, in the United States. It’ll cost $699 and be sold through Best Buy, Amazon, and B&H Photo. It’ll work on all GSM carriers in the US, but CDMA support seems to be absent. Therefore, if you’re a Verizon or Sprint subscriber, you’ll be out of luck.
If you buy the Nokia 9 within the first week it’s available, Nokia will knock off $100 from the original price. This will bring the cost down to $599 which seems like a pretty attractive price, especially when you consider it has five rear cameras, a 5.99-inch OLED 2K display, a Snapdragon 845, 6GB of RAM, an in-display fingerprint scanner, 128GB of storage, a 3,320mAh battery, and IP67 certification.
If we manage to get a review unit of the Nokia 9, we’ll report back with our thoughts on this unique device.
