Today during CES 2019, Lenovo unveiled its new Yoga A940 all-in-one PC. And just by looking at it, it’s not hard to tell it’s going right for the Microsoft Surface Studio’s throat.
According to Lenovo, the Yoga A940 comes with an aluminum body and a 25-degree drafting-angle hinge that lets you slide the 27-inch display down so you can draw, write, or do other creative work. Speaking of the display, Lenovo offers either a Quad HD or 4K resolution with Dolby Vision support.
For specs, the Yoga A940 can be equipped with up to an 8th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, AMD Radeon RX 560 graphics, up to 2TB of storage, Dolby Atmos speakers, and Windows 10 Home. You also get Windows Hello support thanks to IR cameras, Active Pen support, and a dial that acts like a Surface Dial which lets you select new utilities within apps. So yeah, the A940 is definitely targeting Surface Studio customers.
You can tell by the pricing, too. The Yoga A940 starts out at just $2,199.99, more than $1,000 less than the Studio. It’ll launch this March so expect more coverage on it once it gets released.
