Google’s Pixel 3 Lite Leaks Out Yet Again, This Time Next to Other Smartphones
Google had been rumored to be developing a budget version of its Pixel smartphone for some time, and we got confirmation that prototypes were developed for the third generation of the device via leaked images from a Russian blog. Now, we’re getting another look at the phone thanks to Wysla.com who decided to snap some shots of the phone next to other popular devices currently on the market.
In the photos, the purported Pixel 3 Lite can be seen next to an original Pixel XL, the Pixel 3 XL, an iPhone XS, an iPhone XR, and what appears to be an old iPhone 5s. There’s also a shot of the phone sitting next to a Nokia 3310, if that interests you.
The Pixel 3 Lite should be around the same size as the iPhone XR.
If there’s anything we learn from these photos, it’s exactly how big the Pixel 3 Lite will be if it ever reaches the market. It appears to be about the same height as the iPhone XR and possibly just as wide, although it packs a 5.56-inch LCD display instead of a 6.1-inch LCD screen. The photos also show off the front-firing speakers, colored power button, volume keys, rear/front cameras, fingerprint scanner, and USB-C port at the bottom. There’s also a headphone jack at the top like we learned previously, but you can’t see it in these new images.
In case you missed it, the Pixel 3 Lite will reportedly come with a Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It’ll also have the same camera setup as the standard Pixel 3, a 2,915mAh battery, and stereo speakers.
Currently, there’s no word on whether the Pixel 3 Lite will ever reach the smartphone market, but if it does, we’ll let you know.
