Google’s Pixel 3 XL Was Left in the Back of a Lyft
As if the phone couldn’t leak out anymore, Android Police is back at it again with even more images of the upcoming Google Pixel 3 XL. According to the publication, someone left a pre-production unit of the device in the back of a Lyft driven by “Anonymous Alligator.” Alligator spotted the phone in the back of his vehicle and thought it was his own Pixel 2 XL. But after further inspection, it was clear this was Google’s upcoming smartphone, giant notch and all.
Of course, before returning the phone to its rightful owner, Alligator had some time to take some photos of the device and leak them to AP. As you can see in the images, the Pixel 3 XL is in some type of case, hence the giant border surrounding the display. Speaking of which, we can also see the giant notch up at the top which houses one of two stereo speakers (the other is in the bottom bezel) and dual selfie shooters. Meanwhile, we can also see an updated design for the rear of the phone along with a single rear camera, fingerprint scanner, and G logo.
Google has yet to say when they’ll formally announce the Pixel 3 XL, but we expect them to do so on October 9th, according to reports. Hopefully, it’ll happen sooner because these leaks are getting completely out of control.
