Leaked: Behold, the Apple iPhone XS

Apple has already confirmed it’s holding an event on September 12th where they’ll more likely than not unveil the next iPhones. We’ve gotten to hear what the devices will feature and where they’ll fall in the company’s lineup for 2018, but we haven’t gotten to see any credible images of the phones just yet. However, a new report out of 9to5Mac not only claims to show off two of the three new iPhones but also seems to confirm the name for both devices.

IPHONE-XS

In the report, 9to5Mac shows off the above image which seems to depict the upcoming 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch iPhones which will both come with OLED displays. Interestingly, the stainless steel frame surrounding the phones is colored gold in these images, therefore hinting at a possible golden finish for both devices.

9to5Mac also claims to confirm the name for both of these iPhones: iPhone XS, or iPhone Ten-Ess. The report doesn’t mention iPhone XS Plus anywhere, but it’s likely Apple will go with that name for the larger model if history is any indication.

What isn’t pictured in the images is the upcoming 6.1-inch LCD model which is also said to arrive this year as a replacement for both the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. Of course, with official-looking photos now starting to leak, it’s likely a matter of time until we get our first glimpse at the device.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on any future leaks surrounding Apple’s upcoming devices.
