Dell Unveils the Inspiron 14, a Premium Chromebook 2-in-1 for $599

Ahead of the official beginning of IFA 2018, Dell has unveiled a new premium Chromebook called the Inspiron 14 that will soon go on sale. The device serves as the company’s first Chrome OS-powered entry in its Inspiron lineup which has already seen new additions today including the refreshed Inspiron 7000 series.

The new Inspiron 14 boasts an aluminum design with a 2-in-1 hinge. Its display measures in at 14-inches and comes with a Full HD resolution. For specs, the laptop comes with an 8th-generation Intel Core i3 processor with 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, USB-C ports, a headphone jack, a microSD card reader, a backlit keyboard, a stylus, and up to 15 hours of battery life. Of course, the gadget also comes with Chrome OS preinstalled with Play Store access.

According to Dell, the Inspiron 14 will launch on October 23rd and will cost $599. That’s not a bad price for the package you’re getting here, especially since Chrome OS is pretty much guaranteed to run really smooth on the included hardware.
