HTC has unveiled its list of devices that will receive an upgrade to Android Pie. We’ve also seen companies such as Moto and Sony unveil their lists as well.
According to a tweet sent out by HTC’s main Twitter account, the devices that will get Android 9.0 are as follows: the U12 Plus, U11, U11 Plus, and U11 Life (Android One). Unfortunately for some, the U Ultra and HTC 10 aren’t listed, but let’s be honest: I think we’ve all moved on from both those phones by now.
We’re pleased as pie to confirm updates to Android Pie for the HTC U12+, U11+, U11, and U11 life (Android One). Timeframes for roll-out will be announced in due course.

We don’t have any dates as to when the first batch of updates will be shipped out to HTC devices, but I would imagine at least one of these phones will get the upgrade by the end of the year. We’ll let you know when the rollout begins.
