Following the release of the first build a little over two weeks ago, Apple today released the second beta of tvOS 12 for test driving on the Apple TV. While the software is already beginning to roll out to developers, you can test it too by enrolling your set-top-box at beta.apple.com.
While it isn’t the biggest update to hit the Apple TV, tvOS 12 does provide users will some nifty new features. It enables Dolby Atmos surround sound, ships with new aerial screensavers, packs Zero Sign-In for even faster log-ins, and comes with AutoFill that works with your iPhone and iPad to punch in passwords faster. Nothing exactly ground-breaking, but definitely welcome.
To install tvOS 12 on your Apple TV, head over to the Software Update section of the Settings app and hit the download button.
