The OnePlus 6 is Now Available for $529

After introducing the smartphone last week, OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 6 and made it available via its online store. The device is available in three configurations: one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and one with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Respectively, the variants cost $529, $579, and $629. Two color options are available: Mirror Black and Midnight Black, with a Silk White coming in the future.

To recap, the OnePlus 6 packs flagship specs into the glass body of a phone that would normally cost nearly twice as much as OnePlus charges. There’s a 6.28-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a notch, a Snapdragon 845 processor, a 3,300mAh battery, dual cameras, a fingerprint sensor, Face Unlock, a USB-C port, a headphone jack, a bottom-firing speaker, and an alert slider.

As 9to5Google notes, OnePlus is also already sending out a software update to the OnePlus 6 that allows users to hide the notch using a black bar at the top of the display. The update also includes the May security patch.
