Apple Will Reportedly Redesign the Apple Watch Later This Year

Apple will reportedly unveil a new Apple Watch Series 4 with a new design, larger screen, and longer battery life. This information comes from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (via 9to5Mac) who also says the new Watch will come with further enhancements to health monitoring.

Specifically, Kuo says the new Apple Watch will come with a 15% larger display alongside a larger battery cell inside the redesigned “trendy” chassis. It’ll also come with new health sensors, but no additional details were shared on this front. thanks to the upgrades, Kuo believes Apple will sell around 22-24 million Apple Watch units in 2018.

With a Q3 2018 launch expected, we should see the Apple Watch Series 4 alongside Apple’s updated iPhone lineup at an event this September. If this is true, expect more rumors surrounding the new Watch to surface in the coming months.
