Samsung introduced its new Notebook 9 and Notebook 9 Pen for 2018 right before CES started, and it’s now announcing pricing for the machines and dates for when you’ll be able to buy them. According to the company, the Notebook 9 will be available starting at $1,199.99 for the 13-inch model and $1,299 for the 15-inch. As for the Notebook 9 Pen, it’ll start at $1,399 and comes with an integrated S Pen. All models will begin shipping February 18th.
The Notebook 9 comes with either a 13- or 15-inch 1080p touch display with up to an 8th-generation Intel Core i7 processor under the hood. You can also get up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and even opt for an Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU. Samsung also includes its “largest and most powerful battery” ever placed in its laptops, weighing in at 75 Wh. You also get two USB 3.0 ports, a USB-C port, an HDMI port, and a microSD card slot, with an extra USB-A port on the 15-inch model.
The Notebook 9 and 9 Pen will be available from Samsung’s website, Amazon, and Best Buy at launch. A cheaper alternative to the Notebook 9, the Notebook 7 Spin, will be available for $899.99 from the same retailers and will launch on the 18th as well.
