Apple has begun refurbishing Apple Watch SEries 3 units and selling them on its refurbished online store. The company has introduced both a 38mm and 42mm model for $279 and $309, respectively. Both feature sport bands and aluminum casing and cost $50 less than what a new model goes for.
The Series 3 made waves on stage at Apple’s last event since it featured a cellular radio to connect to the internet even without your iPhone on hand. Unfortunately, this particular model of the Apple Watch isn’t available. Rather, the Wi-Fi/GPS-only models are currently shipping. It’s unclear if Apple plans to add cellular refurbished models to its store anytime soon, but we’ll let you know if they do.
