Huawei Says Honor 7X and View 10 Are Coming to the US

Huawei has announced at CES 2018 that the recently introduced Honor 7X and View 10 (V10) smartphones will be coming to the United States. This marks one of the first times the company has brought its handsets to the US as it tends to stick to other regions such as Asia. Now, it looks like Huawei wants to be an even bigger player here in the States, and they’ll try to achieve that with these devices.

Starting with the former, the Honor 7X ships with a 5.93-inch 18:9 LCD bezel-less FHD+ display with a fingerprint sensor and dual cameras on the back; volume and power buttons on the edges; and a headphone jack, microUSB port, and speaker on the bottom. As for specs, you’re getting a Kirin 659 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, Android Nougat with EMUI on top, and a 3340mAh battery. It’ll cost $199 when it lands Stateside and even come in a special red finish “just in time for Valentine’s Day.”

As for the latter, the View 10 will come with much higher-end specs, including a Kirin 970 processor, up to 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, dual cameras, USB-C, and a larger 3750mAh battery. The same screen from the 7X is brought over to this handset, and the fingerprint reader has been repositioned to below the display. This will obviously be the more premium option of the two, so if your budget allows, you’ll wanna pick this model up.

No word yet on how much the View 10 will cost in the US or when either handset will land. We’ll let you know when we hear more.
