Apple today released the first beta of watchOS 4.2.2 for testing on the Apple Watch before an initial public release sometime in the future. This comes a bit more than a week after watchOS 4.2 was released. To install the beta, navigate to the Watch app on your paired iPhone and tap the “My Watch” tab. From there, go to General > Software Update and you should see the build ready for download. Be sure to place your iPhone on Wi-Fi while downloading this software as it’ll surely gobble up plenty of your data.
We have yet to notice any user-facing changes in the latest watchOS beta build, but we do know there are some bugs that have been squashed. We’ll update you if we find something worth noting.
