Amazon is currently hosting a sale on the Essential Phone for Cyber Monday that comes bundled with a 360-degree detachable camera mod. Instead of costing its normal $499 price without the camera, for today only, it’ll cost just $399 and come with the camera. Compared to the device’s original $699 price point, that’s $300 less than what you’d pay for the phone unlocked about four months ago.
If you need to be convinced as to why you should buy the Essential Phone for under $400, maybe just do it based on the spec sheet because it’s insane. Here’s a rundown.
- 5.7-inch Quad HD bezel-less display
- Snapdragon 835 processor
- 4GB of RAM
- 128GB storage
- USB-C port
- Dual rear cameras (not the best sensors, mind you)
- Ceramic and titanium body
Of course, this device has its own set of caveats. For one, there’s no headphone jack, it’s not waterproof, and yeah, the cameras apparently still stink. But if you’ve got $400 to drop on a new phone and don’t wanna opt for a mid-ranger, the Essential Phone should really be considered.
