Apple Music Can Now Be Controlled by Google Assistant on the iPhone

For those of you who prefer the Google Assistant on your iPhone over Siri, Apple Music can now be controlled by the voice-controlled interface from the search giant. By updating the app, a new function appears letting users connect their Apple Music subscription to the Assistant for control. All music such as songs, playlists, and albums work, however radio stations are currently absent from this function. The news comes after the same feature arrived on Android about a month ago.

Mind you, considering Siri is an Apple product, it’s more tightly integrated with Apple Music so you should really only use Google Assistant for this function if you absolutely need to have Google in your life. Otherwise, maybe just scream at Siri to play that new Logic track?
