Apple today released the fifth beta build of watchOS 4.1 for testing on the Apple Watch before an initial roll out to the public. This comes just three days after the fourth beta was released. To install the beta, navigate to the Watch app on your paired iPhone and tap the “My Watch” tab. From there, go to General > Software Update and you should see the build ready for download. Be sure to place your iPhone on Wi-Fi while downloading this software as it’ll surely gobble up plenty of your data.
In the first build of watchOS 4.1, Apple added the ability to stream Apple Music right on your wrist alongside enjoy radio stations made in the service. Music is controllable via your fingers or with your voice thanks to Siri. We’ll let you know of any additional changes.
watchOS 4 arrives with new watch faces including a smart Siri face alongside those featuring Buzz, Woody, and Jessey from the popular Toy Story franchise, new fitness workouts and challenges, a full-on Apple Music app, and peer-to-peer payments like in iOS 11 with Apple Pay Cash.
