ZTE’s Latest Smartphone is a $120 Version of the Blade X Max

ZTE wowed us earlier this year with its $149 Blade X Max smartphone which was for sale at $99 at the time we were reviewing it. Now, the company hopes to leave at least the same impression with its lower-end model, the Blade X. The device costs just $119.99 and looks to pack relatively the same experience as its better half.

For one, there’s a slightly smaller 5.5-inch 720p display covered in 2.5D glass. Capacitive keys sit directly below. Inside, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with 2GB of RAM and up to 16GB of internal storage, a smaller 3,000mAh battery, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat. For cameras, ZTE packs a 13MP shooter on the back and a 5MP selfie cam. Additionally, the company also includes a USB-C connector on the bottom for Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0 compatibility.

Oh, and there’s a headphone jack.

While the device doesn’t look to impress, it looks like a pretty good value at just $120. It goes on sale exclusively at Cricket today and can be purchased here or at select retailers.
