LG’s V30 is finally landing here in the United States. After originally debuting at IFA 2017 and eventually going on sale in South Korea, the company has announced the V30 flagship will land on all US carriers within the next two weeks. Specifically, Verizon will open sales of the device October 5th while AT&T says the handset launches on their network a day later on October 6th. T-Mobile says it lands on their network with 600 MHz spectrum support on October 13th. Sprint and U.S. Cellular should get the device either on or around that date.
While we don’t have definite prices for the V30 from all carriers just yet, we have an idea of what you’ll be spending. AT&T will sell the device for $810 flat-out or over the course of 30 months for $27/month. T-Mobile says the handset will land for $800 on their network or for $80 down and $30/month for two years. We have yet to hear from Verizon and Sprint regarding pricing, but as we draw near launch day, expect to hear more.
Previously, it was revealed LG estimated the V30’s value at $750 so the company might sell the device unlocked at or around that price point. For now, it looks like we’ll have to wait and see what each retail outlet does on launch day next week.
The LG V30 features a 6-inch FullVision OLED display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, Android 7.1.2 Nougat, a Floating Bar instead of a second screen, a 3300mAh battery, a 16MP f/1.6 camera and 13MP wide-angle camera, USB-C, a hi-fi quad DAC, and an IP68 certified glass body.
