LG’s V30 looks to be a promising and exciting smartphone for many, and it shows: you guys have been absolutely digging our first look article on the handset. So really, LG can’t release this handset soon enough, and now, those in South Korea are seeing the result of their anticipation as the device is now shipping to customers there. This is great and all, but a majority of you guys aren’t living in South Korea and may wonder when the handset is hitting your market. Well…
Unfortunately, we don’t have that information yet. LG says in a press release the V30 will begin shipping “to eager customers in North America, Europe and other key markets globally in the days and weeks to come,” but that’s not a very precise or specific answer. Therefore, it looks like we still have a good wait ahead of us before customers get their hands on the device. Luckily, at least for those in the United States, LG said previously the phone would land in “early fall,” and fall starts this Friday. So while we may not have that much longer of a wait ahead of us stateside, I can’t say the same for those overseas. But hey, at least the device is rolling out to at least some people.
The LG V30 features a 6-inch FullVision OLED display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, Android 7.1.2 Nougat, a Floating Bar instead of a second screen, a 3300mAh battery, a 16MP f/1.6 camera and 13MP wide-angle camera, USB-C, a hi-fi quad DAC, and an IP68 certified glass body.
