T-Mobile Users Are Now Guaranteed 50GB of High-Speed Unlimited Data

T-Mobile has announced an upgrade for all of its subscribers on its unlimited plans. Starting tomorrow, all users will be able to take advantage of 50GB of high-speed data before data speeds are deprioritized. This is up from the carrier’s previous 32GB guarantee and is more than double that of what AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint offer (22GB, 22GB, and 23GB respectively, for reference).

Of course, subscribers of T-Mobile’s unlimited plan aren’t guaranteed data speed deprioritization after the high-speed limit has been breached (they actually reminded me of this last time they increased their soft cap), but you have 50GB of high-speed data regardless. Obviously, not many if any people will use all 50GB in just one month, but if you’re one to tether your cellular connection a lot, this news may be pretty exciting.
