After a three-month-long beta process, Apple’s watchOS 4 is now rolling out to all Apple Watch users. This comes a few days before the new Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE comes out which will ship with the OS out of the box. To install the update, navigate to the Watch app on your paired iPhone and tap the “My Watch” tab. From there, go to General > Software Update and you should see the update ready for download. Be sure to place your iPhone on Wi-Fi while downloading this software as it’ll surely gobble up plenty of your data.
watchOS 4 arrives with new watch faces including a smart Siri face alongside those featuring Buzz, Woody, and Jessey from the popular Toy Story franchise, new fitness workouts and challenges, a full-on Apple Music app, and peer-to-peer payments like in iOS 11 with Apple Pay Cash. Of course, with incremental updates arriving inevitably in the near future, we expect to see much more added to watchOS 4 so stay tuned.
