You Can Now Buy the Essential Phone at Sprint Retail Stores

Andy Rubin’s Essential Phone is now available at retail stores. After originally selling the device on Essential and Sprint’s own websites, the latter is now selling the device in their brick-and-mortar stores located across the country. The carrier says for a limited time, customers can get 50 percent off the Essential Phone and pay $14.58/month for 18 months with $0 down. The 360-degree camera module which snaps to the back of the phone can also be had for $199.99 or $16.67/month for 12 months.

While the handset hasn’t met the biggest appreciation from reviewers, the Essential Phone at least offers a decent amount of highlights. There’s a ceramic and titanium body, a 5.7-inch edge-to-edge screen, a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat, dual 13MP cameras, and a 3040mAh battery. There’s also a fingerprint scanner on the back, Bluetooth 5, and a USB-C port. The phone definitely packs all the essentials for a phone, so it’ll be interesting to see how consumers respond to the phone.

Of course, if we get some hands-on time with the device, we’ll let you know.
