As first spotted by MacRumors, Apple has increased the prices of its most-expensive 10.5-inch iPad Pros. As of now, if you want a 10.5-inch iPad Pro with either 256 or 512GB of storage, you’ll have to pay $799 or $999. That’s $50 more than what the devices cost a couple of days ago. For cellular connectivity, you’ll need to pay either $929 or $1,129. Thankfully, the 64GB option remains at its same $649 and $779 price points.
But why increase the prices of the already-expensive iPad Pros anyway? It could be due to component shortages or manufacturing costs, but for now, we don’t have a definitive answer. So if you want a new 10.5-inch iPad Pro directly from Apple with some extra storage, it looks like you’ll be paying an even larger premium.
