New Report Suggests Apple Will Unveil its New iPhones on September 12th

A fresh report out of The Wall Street Journal suggests Apple will host an event on September 12th to unveil its new iPhone lineup, Apple Watch Series 3, and 4K HDR-enabled Apple TV. This corroborates a report from last week which suggested the same thing and even the fact that carriers were being made aware of the date as well.

At the event, Apple is reported to unveil the redesigned iPhone 7s and 7s Plus alongside a radically-different iPhone 8 with a bezel-less OLED display. It’ll also have 3D face detection technology for unlocking your phone, AR capabilities, dual rear cameras, and a smaller footprint than that of an iPhone Plus despite sporting a 5.7- or 5.8-inch screen.

As for the new Apple Watch, the Series 3 will reportedly come with LTE connectivity for greater independence from one’s iPhone. Additionally, the new 4K HDR-enabled Apple TV will be faster and capable of outputting higher-quality picture to a compatible TV or monitor. We’ll also likely hear more about Apple’s HomePod which leaked nearly every product listed in this article.

Considering August is now winding down so quickly, we’ll likely see Apple begin to send out press invitations for their iPhone event soon. It’s unclear exactly when, but we’ll let you know.
