Evan Blass has tweeted a photo of what appears to be the official Android O logo that will be unveiled tomorrow, August 21st, during the total eclipse. As you can see smack in the middle of the image is an Oreo, leading us to believe Android Oreo is indeed the name Google chose for version 8.0 of their mobile operating system. We don’t receive direct confirmation that it is Android 8.0 Oreo, but at this point, I’m pretty sure it’s safe to say this is the case.

We’re still a day away from hearing from Google regarding the name of Android O so stay tuned. If there’s anyone out there who may’ve placed bets on Oreo, you’ll probably come into some type of fortune tomorrow. I know I am.
