Samsung’s Bixby has been delayed far too many times for any normal product or service. It was last scheduled to launch June 28th as we reported, but a later report indicated the company yet again delayed the voice assistant due to lack of data. Therefore, it’s been a straight up guessing game as to exactly when we could see Bixby Voice land on everyone’s S8 or S8+ here in the States. However, it looks like our wait may be almost up.
According to a leaked image of an internal memo inside of Samsung via Reddit, the company might launch Bixby Voice on July 18th. This is just four days away, so you may only have 96 more hours to wait. But when considering how beta-like the service currently is, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the service delayed once again.
Then again, this memo does tell employees to get “retail ready” and to “Watch and learn with the NEW Bixby Webinar training” so this time, Samsung might be serious. All in all, if the service were to land any day, I would think this one would be it.
