LG is currently sending out invitations to an event they’re holding on August 31st, a day before IFA 2017 starts. It starts at 9 PM CET (or 4 PM ET/1 PM CT here in the US), and the company will no doubt unveil the much-anticipated V30 smartphone.
The teaser image being sent out to members of the press happens to have a giant V in its background, but this isn’t the only reason we’re coming to this conclusion. Recent rumors have pointed to an unveiling on August 31st, and they’ve seemed legit. Therefore, it doesn’t come as a shock that LG has confirmed this date as the day they’ll take the wraps off the V30.
The LG V30 will likely feature a FullVision display with minimal bezels much like the LG G6, but this time it’ll use an OLED panel instead of LCD. It’ll sport a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4or 6GB of RAM, probably 64GB of storage, dual cameras, and even water resistance. What it won’t have is a secondary display. Stay tuned to the site for more on the handset as its unveiling date draws closer.
