KFC and Huawei Made a Phone (No, Seriously)

To celebrate their 30th anniversary of having a presence in China, KFC (otherwise known as Kentucky Fried Chicken) has partnered with Huawei to create the KFC Huawei 7 Plus. Or, an Android smartphone.

As for specs, there’s a 5-inch display, a Snapdragon 425 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It obviously runs Android, while there’s also a fingerprint sensor and a 3,020mAh battery. heck, Colonel Sander’s face is even embossed on the rear of the device. That factor will probably convince everyone to buy this thing.

Additionally, the phone ships with a KFC-branded music app that literally lets anyone choose a song to play in any KFC location in China. In the video above, there’s parties and stuff going on when people use this feature, so if you’re throwing your birthday bash at a Kentucky Fried Chicken, you’ll wanna buy this phone.

But you’ll wanna hurry, as KFC and Huawei are only making 5,000 of these things. Luckily, they do come cheap at just 1,099 yuan (roughly $160). Side note: while ordering, I would make sure you say extra crispy. Otherwise, your order might come out soggy.
