Moto isn’t having a very good year in terms of keeping their phones a secret. Their entire lineup for 2017 leaked at one point, and now it’s just a matter of learning about the specific devices’ specifications and features one-by-one. Now, it’s the Moto X4’s time to shine as the device has been detailed in a new report out of VentureBeat and via a new image leaked on Twitter by Evan Blass.

As you can see in the image above, the X4 will sport an aluminum frame and what looks like a pretty shiny body. It’ll also sport dual cameras, making it one of Moto’s first phones to do so. As for specs, VentureBeat claims a Full HD display, an octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, and a 3,000mAh battery will come onboard. A fingerprint sensor with gesture recognition is also in the lineup.
Specifically, the Moto X4 will consist of one 12MP camera and one 8MP camera on the back. There will also be an upgraded 16MP sensor on the front for selfies, because I guess they matter more than actual photos. Finally, the phone will carry an IP68 water and dust-resistant rating.
Pricing hasn’t been announced yet nor has a set release date, but we do know it’ll come later this year. Why? Because it’ll be the first non-Google phone to hit Project Fi, the company’s pay-as-you-go MNVO service. Obviously, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more on this handset.
