Google has begun rolling out Bluetooth audio support for the Google Home. As a part of firmware version 90387, you can now connect your Android device or iPhone to your Google Home over Bluetooth and use its speaker to play music. Basically, Google now lets you use the Google Home like any other Bluetooth speaker which could prove to be a major convenience for users.
The rollout was initially spotted by a tipster to Android Police. Right now, it doesn’t appear everyone is getting the feature originally debuted at I/O 2017 so we’ll have to wait for Google to formally announce the function in the near future.
