A major television network has finally begun supporting Apple’s mobile devices via the latter’s Single Sign-On feature. As a part of version 4.9 of their iOS app and originally noted by Engadget, NBC has begun supporting the Cupertino giant’s method of signing into multiple TV-providing apps on both iPhone and iPad. Before, the feature was only supported on Apple TV but has since made its way to Apple’s mobile OS.
What’s New in Version 4.9.0
• New series! Watch the first episodes of WORLD OF DANCE and more!
• Improved in-app search lets you explore the show library faster than ever!
• Added support for single sign-on across Apple devices! Now when you enter your pay TV provider credentials on your iPhone or iPad (and Apple TV), you get immediate access to any locked content across apps that support single sign-on. You no longer need to enter your pay TV user name and password for each app!
• Fixed miscellaneous bugs and app crashes
The app can be downloaded for free from the App Store here.
