Sequel to Jurassic World Gets Official Title and First Poster

The sixth installment in the Jurassic World franchise has received a title and its first poster. As the sequel to 2015’s Jurassic World starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, the new film will be called Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Its first poster features the title under the iconic Jurassic World logo with the tagline, “Life Finds a Way.”

You may be wondering what this tagline means. In the original Jurassic Park film, Jeff Goldblum’s character, Dr. Ian Malcolm, shared a pretty iconic line when he said, “Life, uh, finds a way” under his breath in response to the question whether all the dinosaurs in the park (that happen to be all female, by the way) can/will breed. The line has become something of a well-known meme online and even got its own page on KnowYourMeme.com. I’m not saying this tagline is in direct response to the storyline Fallen Kingdom will carry, but it does let us know once again that Goldblum will be returning to the franchise to reprise his role as the witty, snarky, and mysterious doctor we’ve all come to know and love.

We don’t know much about the upcoming Jurassic film, but we should learn more within the next year.
