Microsoft’s Surface Pro and Surface Laptop Are Now Available for Purchase

Microsoft today launched their new Surface Laptop and Surface Pro 2-in-1. Each device was announced at separate events last month, with the former featuring pretty high-end specs running atop Windows 10 S in a standard laptop form factor while the latter features a convertible design, better specs, and full Windows 10.

The Surface Laptop features an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and Windows 10 S. Everything comes packed in a metal unibody design that arrives in Cobalt Blue, Graphite Gold, Platinum, and Burgundy. It starts at $999 over on the Microsoft store.

The new Surface Pro, on the other hand, starts with an Intel Core m3 and goes up to an Intel Core i7 processor with up to 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM. These specs arrive in a package that’s slimmer than the Surface Pro 4 and starts at $799. You’ll want the Signature Type Cover with your purchase, so that’ll cost $159 separately. Oh, and you may want the $99 Surface Pen as well. All of these are available now from the Microsoft store.

Additionally, the Surface Pro is available in one color: silver. The Signature Type Cover and Surface Pen arrive in Burgundy and Cobalt Blue, while the latter comes exclusively available in both Platinum and Black as well.
